TEDx in Amsterdam
Tedx is coming to Amsterdam. Very exciting to have a Tedx event in Amsterdam. TED is a small nonprofit devoted to Ideas Worth Spreading. It started out (in 1984) as a conference bringing together people from three worlds: Technology, Entertainment, Design. Since then its scope has become ever broader. Along with the annual TED Conference in Long Beach, California, and the TEDGlobal conference in Oxford UK, TED includes the award-winning TEDTalks video site, the Open Translation Program, the new TEDx community program, this year’s TEDIndia Conference and the annual TED Prize.
Now a fork of TED, named TEDx is comming to amsterdam. We can not call it TED and only TEDx. However you call it… it is comming to Amsterdam and it is exiting.
Ted events have been given all over the world and now as per 20-november one will be held in the Royal Tropical Institute. You will be able to find more information about this event at the Ted Amsterdam website and we can only hope this is the first of a long list of TEDx events in the Netherlands.
